Founded in 1973, City University is a private, not-for-profit institution and is one of the nation’s pioneers in addressing the educational needs of underserved populations. It is one of the largest private institutions of higher education in the State of Washington and in the Pacific Northwest. City University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
